Ella Mae (Kuhn) Patterson, 91, of Wampum passed away quietly on April 5, 2021, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Ella was born in North Beaver Township on May 5, 1929, daughter of the late Clarence A. and Bertha A. Shiderly Kuhn.

She was the bride of the late James Ray Patterson, whom she married on June 1, 1948.

A homemaker all her life, she was a loving wife and mother to her daughters, Barbara Parker of Enon Valley, Paula Stark of Rochester, and Jackie Cooper of Wampum. Ella was grandmother to three and great-grandmother to nine.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brothers, Leroy and Donald; and three grandchildren.

Due to the issues with COVID-19, there will be no formal viewing or services that are public.

Family will gather at a future date to hold a private memorial/life celebration service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home, Bessemer.
