Emma C. Adams, age 85, of Wilmington Township, passed away the early morning of Oct. 29, 2020, at her residence.

Born Feb. 3, 1935, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Broschart) Fletcher.

Emma married her beloved husband of only 24 years, Karl (Bill) Adams, on July 31, 1954. He preceded her in death in 1978.

Emma was a graduate of Shenango High School.

She cherished her family most of all. Emma raised her children after her husband died due to illness, and helped to raise many generations to come, including her great-grandchildren.

She never wanted for the material things of this world. She enjoyed the simple things in life and never complained.

Emma was blessed by her sister-in-law, Linda, who loved and cared for her every day.

Emma is survived by five daughters, Judy (David) Black of Jackson Center, Pennsylvania, Sharonn (Paul) Edmiston of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, Charlotte (Bob) Montozzi of Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, Arlene Davison and Karole Longbrake of Santa Cruz, California; one brother, Bill Fletcher of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one sister, Joanne Foor of Savannah, Georgia; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Emma was preceded in death by a son, William Adams, and one sister, Alice Donaldson.

A private family service will be held at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.

Burial will be at Neshannock Cemetery in New Wilmington.
