Esther J. (Maiorano) DiLorenzo, 96, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, July 22, 2016.

She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo DiLorenzo for 55 years; loving mother of James (late Lori) DiLorenzo, of Churchill, Dennis (Debbie) DiLorenzo, of Monroeville and the late Carolyn (surviving spouse, Frank) Dittig; cherished grandmother of Frank (Kelly) Dittig, Angela (Denny) Moffatt, Jennifer (Michael) Ward, Nicole (Graeme) Eastgate, Jessica, Christa, Vito (Gina), Danelle and Vincent DiLorenzo, Michael, Jaclyn, David and Diane DiLorenzo; also survived by 10 precious great-grandchildren.

Esther was a New Castle native and the last surviving of nine children of John and Rosalie Maiorano.

She was a devoted homemaker, who dedicated her life to her family.

Esther was proud of her Italian heritage and enjoyed cooking and caring for all of her family members.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday. Details will be announced.

Esther will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
