Florence Edna Booher Obituary

Solon, OH - Florence Edna Booher, age 92, of Solon, Ohio, passed away the morning of March 9, 2025, at her residence.

Born Oct. 11, 1932, in Moravia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Merit and Florence Blanche (Allen) Stephenson.

Florence was a graduate of Mt. Jackson High School. Following high school, she received her associate's degree from the Community College of Baltimore County.

She enjoyed traveling, knitting and playing on her computer. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family. She was a member of Moravia Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Hughes (Steve) of New Castle, Pennsylvania; two sons, Jesse Booher (Kattia) of Solon, Ohio, and Linn Booher Jr. (Becky) of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one sister, Sarah Fay Aiken of Holiday, Florida; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Florence was preceded in death one son, Del Victor Booher; one brother, Harry Curtis Stephenson; and two grandchildren, Linn J. and Tiffanie Booher.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Christ United Eastbrook Campus, 3727 State Road, New Castle, PA, 16101, with Pastor Jason Schepp officiating.

Entombment will be at Castleview Cemetery in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
