New Castle, PA - Florence (Grinzivich) Letera, 96, lifelong resident of New Castle, passed away peacefully Dec. 13, 2025, in her home. She and her Shenango High School sweetheart, Robert Letera, married July 23, 1950. They shared 70 wonderful years together until his passing on Oct. 15, 2020. Florence found great joy in caring for her husband, sons and family throughout her entire life. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in New Castle for over 60 years. Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three sons: Robert (Becky), William (Pam) and Gary (Mary Jo); nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and her niece and special friend, Dorothy. Visitation will take place on Jan. 10, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 984 W. Maitland Ln from 11 a.m. until noon, immediately followed by a memorial service.
