Francis Yavorsky Obituary
Francis "Frank" Albert Yavorsky, Jr., 70 of Volant, Washington Township passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his residence following a short illness.
He was born in Sharon on Feb. 12, 1946, to Francis "Frank" Albert Yavorsky Sr., and Rose Trebus Yavorsky.
He married Karna Louise McConnell on July 19, 1969.
He graduated from Hickory High School in Hermitage in 1964.
Frank enjoyed auto racing, hunting, riding motorcycles and camping.
He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Frank is survived by his wife, Karna, at home; two daughters, Crystal (Pat) Hart of Volant and Samantha (Jeremy) Fredell of Powell, Ohio; a son, Lance (Cheryl) Yavorsky of Slippery Rock; his mother, Rose Adams of New Wilmington; four sisters, Rosemary Totten of New Castle, Sandra (Howard) Mellott of West Middlesex, Florence Godsave of Sharpsville and Susan (Mike) Hume of Montesano, Washington; two brothers, Steven (Junita) Yavorsky of Manchester, Ohio, and Thomas (Pamela) Yavorsky of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Barbara Yavorsky of Sharpsville; three granddaughters, Libby Hart and Charon and Mariana Fredell; and two stepgranddaughters, Brittany Cardenas and Nina Osborne.
He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, William; and an infant sister, Helen Patricia.
Family will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home of Leesburg, 1778 Perry Highway, Volant, where a funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Maxwell Muska, pastor of Rich Hill Presbyterian Church presiding.
Interment will be in Rich Hill Cemetery.
