New Castle, PA - Frank B. Calabrese, 87, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of Feb. 4, 2026, at Quality Life of New Castle.

Born Oct. 6, 1938, in New Castle, Frank was the son of the late Frank Calabrese and Emma Colecchi Calabrese Muller.

On July 15, 1961, Frank married his beloved wife, the former Barbara A. DiBello. Barbara preceded him in death Aug. 17, 2021.

In the early years, Frank had worked in the pattern shop for the Crane Company. He then worked in the custodial department for 20 years at Neshannock High School.

Frank had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the KP Club.

In his early years, Frank enjoyed bowling and golfing.

A loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Frank's greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Frank is survived by his two children, Michael Calabrese (Lisa) and David Calabrese; his brother, Pete Calabrese; two sisters, Julie Hoy and Veronica Stitt; two grandchildren, Joshua Short (Chelsea) and Eric Calabrese-Short (Jessica); and six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jonathan, Jensen and Naressa Short and Christina and Ember Calabrese-Short.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, for a Mass of Christian burial at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary's Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.
