Meadville, Pennsylvania - It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Frank M. Germick's passing on Dec. 16, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on July 28, 1941, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Frank lived a full and meaningful life. He grew up surrounded by the love of his parents, Frank and Nellie Germick, and went on to graduate from New Castle High School in 1959. Frank would later attend Youngstown State University for two years before graduating from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1962, kicking off a dedicated career as a funeral director at the former Roofner-Collins Funeral Home, where he worked for over 30 years.

Frank was a devoted family man, married to Martha "Marti" Wagner for 46 years until her passing in 2013. Frank was deeply involved in his community. He was a valued member of the Epiphany of the Lord Parish, where he served as an usher and participated in the Men's Club. Frank's commitment to service extended to the Knights of Columbus, where he distinguished himself as a fourth-degree Knight and former Grand Knight. He was an active member of the community throughout his life, including being a part of the Davis Hose Company, Meadville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Hunting and Fishing Club, VFW Post 2006, Meadville Volunteer Fire Department Board of Relief, and the Polish Falcons. Notably, he once had the honor of serving as grand marshal of the Meadville Halloween Parade.

Frank is survived by his son Russell from Portland, Oregon; his beloved granddaughter Haley of Meadville and his step-daughter Christine Klecic; close friends Pat McHale, Gaynell Mailliard, Tom McCain, Tim Martsoff and Ed Kiter, and several cousins.

In addition to his wife, Marti, he was preceded in death by his daughter Holly Hunter.

The family invites friends to call on Sunday, Dec. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Epiphany of the Lord Parish, Saint Agatha, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Father Jeffrey Lucas, pastor, as celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, Frank wished for memorial donations to be made to Epiphany of the Lord Parish in his memory.
