Frank Louis Giangiulio Sr., 82, of Hunter Lane, Hickory Township, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh.

Born July 20, 1936, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Louis and Mary (DiCicco) Giangiulio. He was married to Judy Ann (Jenks) Giangiulio on Nov. 23, 1968. She survives in New Castle.

Mr. Giangiulio was a boiler fireman at St. Francis Hospital and retired after 20 years. He was a longtime softball coach and an avid Yankees and Patriots fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Catherine F. Blake and her husband, James, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Frank L. Giangiulio Jr. of New Castle; one brother, Joe Giangiulio of New Castle; one granddaughter, April Raine Ammons; one niece, Alexis Ryan; two nephews, Brandon and Dustin Ryan; and his sister-in-law, Debby Ryan.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Deacon Dan Kielar will be officiating.
