Genevieve M. "Jen" Habib Bergbigler, 67, of Union Township passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, March 18, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jen was born Dec. 20, 1957, in Quantico, Virginia, a daughter of Samuel and Theresa (Poirier) Habib.

After graduating from Union High School in 1976, she completed an associate degree at Harding Business College in Campbell, Ohio.

A talented business secretary, Jen began her career at the DeBartolo Corp., later working in the same capacity for Cafaro Steel, Ambrosia Trucking and Sparmon, Inc. She ultimately concluded her career at Truck World in Hubbard, Ohio, retiring in 2024.

Jen was of the Catholic faith.

Her love of family truly shined when spending time with her beloved granddaughters, and caring for her adored pet Pugs.

Jen also had a talent for sewing, and enjoyed a quiet evening at home watching a good movie.

Jen is survived by a son, James D. Reebel (Kelly) of Bessemer, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Maitlyn and Karli Reebel of Bessemer, Pennsylvania; a brother, Joseph Habib of New Castle; and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, Jen was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Habib Jr.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, with Deacon John Carran officiating.

The interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Union Township.
