New Castle, PA - Dr. Glenn Edward Barber, age 75, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away the afternoon of Oct. 3, 2025, at AGN Hospital in Wexford, Pennsylvania.

Born June 16, 1950, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, he was one of five sons to the late Lee and June (Fleeger) Barber.

Glenn graduated from Mohawk High School in 1968. He obtained his education degree from Youngstown State University in 1972. He worked for the United States Postal Service prior to earning his doctorate in chiropractic medicine in Spartanburg, South Caorlina, in 1986. Dr. Barber operated his chiropractic office in Spartanburg and Columbia, South Carolina, until suffering a stroke in 2012, and returned to live in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

Among his varied interests, Glenn was an avid sports fan. What mattered most to him in life was spending time with his family and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Life Lawrence County for their tremendous care and compassion they have shown Glenn during his time with them.

Survivors include his four sons, Eric, Jake, Pedro and Tomas; two daughters, Tiffany and Meghan; four brothers, Paul (Judy), Ken (Debbie) Scott (Roberto), Jeff (Jacque); six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

Glenn will be laid to rest on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m., in the Mt. Jackson Presbyterian Cemetery, 336 Mt. Air Road, conducted by Rev. Peter Squillo.
