Harold Dewayne Altman, 64, of Fair Oaks, Pennsylvania, closed his eyes in death on Thursday Nov. 24, 2022, from pulmonary hypertension and heart failure.

Harold was born Dec. 28, 1957, in New Brighton to the late Arthur Lee and Ida Louise Thomas Altman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Altman.

He is survived by one brother, Arthur (Teresa) Altman, Fair Oaks; and his sisters, Deborah, Janice and Donna Altman, all of New Castle, and Shonda Layton, Youngstown, Ohio.

Harold was a graduate of New Castle High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He loved to fish and was a lifelong avid Steelers and Pirates fan.

Harold was a loving and beloved uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his brother, sisters, aunts, uncle and many cousins and friends from both New Castle and the Beaver Valley area. Friends were received Wednesday Nov. 30, 2022, at Bohn-Matich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Burial was to be private.
