Pulaski, PA - Helen M. Ruby, 74, of Pulaski passed away the morning of July 31, 2025 at her home.
Helen was born Sept. 29, 1950, in New Castle to the late Norman and Shirley (Kline) Ruby.
Helen was a registered nurse and worked for nearly 40 years as a neonatal nurse for Tod Children's Hospital.
She was a faithful, devoted and active member of New Bedford Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she served in many ways, including singing in the choir.
Her hobbies included crafting and traveling.
Helen is survived by her sister, Connie Houston (Richard); five nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as her church family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Norman Ruby and Jeffery Ruby; and nephew, Jonathan Ruby.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 3000 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Bedford Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 151 Woodland Drive, Pulaski, PA, officiated by Pastor Dan Muttart. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Pulaski.
