Rogers, Arkansas - Holly Dawn (Eardley) Cartwright passed away Sept. 28, 2025, in Rogers, Arkansas, after a long battle with interstitial lung disease.
Holly always suspected that she would be a good teacher, and anyone who met her knew that would have been true. She was the most patient human who ever lived, and her kindness and compassion were unparalleled.
She was a loving wife and mother, and being a grandmother was one of the biggest joys of her life. She would always lend a listening ear and offer a kind word of advice, and Holly was able to find humor in any situation.
One of Holly's favorite things was spending time at the beach on Assateague Island.
Holly will be remembered most for empathy and love of those close to her. Anyone who ever met her would say what a special, gentle and kind human she was.
Holly is survived by her husband, Edward C. Cartwright; children, Patrick Cartwright (Kim) and Lindsay Broshears (Chris); six grandchildren, Charlotte, Joe, Ella, Benjamin, Alison and Samantha; brother, Bill Eardley; and mother, Gwen Eardley Deep (John).
Holly was preceded in death by her father, David Samuel Eardley; and brother, David Samuel Eardley Jr.
She respectfully requested no services.
