Jacqueline Ida Mazzarini (DeGruttola), 92, daughter of John G. and Josephine DeGruttola (Schroeder) of Ellwood City, died peacefully at the Haven Convalescent Home on Thursday, March 14, 2019.

A true friend and caregiver, she supported many families by serving the community through her work in positions such as president of the Christian Mothers for St. Justin's Church of Mt. Washington Pittsburgh; as school crossing guard for the township of Mt. Lebanon; school bus driver for both Keystone Oaks and Laurel school districts; nurse aide at St. Joseph the Worker Parish Infirmary, the Elmira Nursing Home and for many years at the Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle.

She loved to sing and was a member of the New Castle chapter of the Sweet Adelines choral group. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, New Castle, and more recently Word Alive Church of Ellwood City.

She loved us all and will be greatly missed.

Jacqueline is survived by her sister, Josephine Jones (DeGruttola); a brother, John DeGruttola; her children, Jeanette Bellisario (Mazzarini), James Mazzarini Sr., Stephen Mazzarini Sr., John Mazzarini, Roy Mazzarini, Renee Toth (Mazzarini); nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Mazzarini Sr.; her eldest son, Fred Mazzarini Jr.; son-in-law, Joseph Toth; a brother, James and his wife, Alice, DeGruttola.

There is no public viewing scheduled. She will be laid to rest at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum in McMurray.
