James E. 'Fat Man' Anderson Obituary

James E. "Jimmy" Anderson, aka "Fat Man," 64, of New Middletown, Ohio, passed away March 9, 2016, at the Vista South in Boardman Ohio, from circumstances involving a past car accident. He was born in New Castle on June 11, 1951, a son of Barney and Helen Moon Anderson. He was husband to the former Linda Krawiecki, whom he married on Aug. 2, 1975. He was a member of the First Covenant Church in Bessemer. Jimmy was a Mohawk High School, class of 1969, graduate and furthered his education by receiving his insurance adjusters license. He had labored at the Sheet & Tube Co. and at the Bessemer Cement before starting the Anderson Wood Products of Koppel in 1989. Jimmy was a wonderful son and husband who loved spending time with family and friends. He had an infectious personality and possessed a wonderful sense of humor that impacted all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a big heart and was a friend to all who crossed his path. He leaves behind many friends that helped him along his journey. A special "thank you" goes to the loving care given him by his adopted family and friends at the Vista Care of Boardman. He will be sadly missed by so many. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Linda; his mother, Helen; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Caicoo; nephew, Trevor Paul; and his family, Jeffery Caicco and his family, Jimmy, and Stephanie Caicco and their family, Jason and Mandy Caicco and their family and Joan and Rick Chinn and their family. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Barney Anderson; brother, Bernard Anderson Jr.; sister, Patricia Anderson; and grandparents, August and Annie Anderson and Wilbert and Minnie Moon. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home in Bessemer. Service will be conducted at the First Covenant Church in Bessemer at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. John Magargee officiating. Jimmy Anderson will be laid to rest in the First Covenant Cemetery.
