Daytona Beach, Florida - James "Jim" Jefferis was born in Ludwigswinkel, Germany, and was formerly of New Castle, Pennsylvania.

He lived in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he enjoyed retirement with his wife, Jessica.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jessica; daughter, Adrienne (David); mother, Gudrun; brothers, Justin (Linda) and Eric (Melissa); and grandchildren, Derek, Arabella and Mila. He is also survived by dear friends he considered extended family, including Aurora and her son, Cory, Genesis, Katie, Kount, Jacob and many others he met along the way. He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Jim graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in accounting. Exceptionally capable in many fields, he had a diverse career that included work in banking, small business ownership, long-haul trucking, mechanics and security.

He loved the ocean, fishing, and spending time on the beach with Jessica. Jim will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the warmth he shared with everyone whose lives he touched.
