James A. Micco Obituary

Bessemer - James A. Micco, 78, of Bessemer died July 1, 2025, at UPMC Jameson.

Jim was born Aug. 13, 1946, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Domenick and Angeline (Manifrang) Micco.

Jim worked as an afternoon foreman for Carbon Limestone Company.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and taking trips to Presque Isle State Park on Lake Erie.

James is survived by wife, Connie (Seminara) Micco, whom he married April 15, 1972; three sons, James J. Micco (Roberta McCollums), David D. Micco and Benjamin G. Micco; two brothers, Don (Lynne) Micco, and David Micco; and his favorite cat, Monsieur.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Micco; and sister-in-law, Kathy Micco.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, 203 Oak St., in Bessemer. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, also at the funeral home.
