Union Township, PA - James T. Mohrman, 70, of Union Township passed away the afternoon of July 7, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital with his family at his side.

James was born Aug. 29, 1955, in Akron, Ohio. He was the son of the late James A. and LouAnn Mohrman.

James worked for over 20 years at the cheese plant in New Wilmington. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and West Virginia Mountaineers. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

James is survived by his daughters, Kelli Mohrman-Hartung (Jennifer), Jennifer Nichols (George) and Jamie Mohrman; his brother, Jon Mohrman (Kathy); his sisters, Cathy Moore and Diane Hawkins-Douglas; grandchildren, Matthew Mohrman and Cameron Cannon; and great-grandson, Braxton Mohrman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robin Hawkins.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 11, at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 S. Mill St., immediately followed at noon by a funeral service officiated by Rev. Dr. Richard Nero.
