Macedonia, Ohio - Janet Cicerchi (née Hall), aged 90, passed away peacefully Feb. 25, 2026, in Macedonia, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 18, 1936, in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
A graduate of New Castle Senior High School, Janet remained in New Castle for much of her life.
She was married to Theodore "Ted" Cicerchi for 67 years.
Janet is survived by her son, Paul Cicerchi (Angela); and daughter, Linda Cicerchi (Ginny).
She was a devoted grandmother to Ann Marie Cicerchi, PJ Cicerchi, Scott Carpenter, Danny Carpenter, Lindsey Aubel and Erin Aubel-Kent. Her legacy extends through her six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Janet was predeceased by her parents, Donald F. Hall and Nellie A. Hall (née Sullivan); her brother, Phillip Hall; and her beloved husband, Ted.
Known fondly as the neighborhood "cat lady," Janet had an unwavering love for animals. She cared for a feral cat colony with such dedication that the cats thrived.
Janet found joy in Tai Chi and tending to her yard.
Her family will honor her memory with a celebration of life at a future date. She will be laid to rest at Castleview Cemetery in New Castle.
