Jody Janine Baker, 63, of New Castle Road, New Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and daughters at UPMC Horizon in Farrell on Nov. 12, 2018.

She was born in New Castle on Jan. 24, 1955, to the late Hugh Jay and Jean Lucille Horrigan. She married William H. Baker on Nov. 10, 1973, and he survives at the residence.

Jody was an active member of Victory Christian Center, New Wilmington Campus. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1973 and retired from Watson's Transport for Wilmington Schools.

She enjoyed reading and attending her grandson's baseball and football games. Most of all, she enjoyed her family.

In addition to her husband, Bill, survivors include three daughters, Billie Jo (Rodney) Manos of Neshannock, Kimberly S. (Jim) Cartwright of New Castle and Mandy Janine (Jeff) Matthews of New Castle; one sister, Jerri Offutt of Montana; one brother, Johnny Horrigan of Norwalk, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, Pa. Funeral services will take place on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at noon at the Victory Christian Center, 22 Victory Lane, New Wilmington, Pa., with Rev. Rob Cypher officiating.

Interment will follow at Neshannock Cemetery.
