New Castle, PA - Joel Enriquez, 81, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away in the loving arms of his wife on Nov. 17, 2025, at their home.
Born Oct. 23, 1944, in Angeles City, Philippines, Joel was the son of the late Roman and Jovita Enriquez.
Joel will be remembered for his 32 years of dedicated service to the community as an anesthesiologist at Jameson and other surrounding hospitals.
He was a quiet and kind man who enjoyed the simple things in life. His jokes, laughter and generosity of heart and care will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Joel is survived by his wife of 46 years, Alice Enriquez; his daughter, Jennifer Enriquez; his brother, Roman (Andrietta) Enriquez; his two nephews, Allan and Jonathan Enriquez; and his niece, Reina Gabbud.
A Mass of Christian burial was held for the family at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. Father Benjamin Barr officiated.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
