New Castle, PA - Joseph Anthony Cumo Jr., 74, of New Castle passed away the morning of June 7, 2025, at his son's residence.

Joseph was born Feb. 22, 1951, in New Castle. He is survived by his father, Joseph Anthony Cumo Sr. of Pueblo, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Colia-Cumo.

Joseph had worked for many years as a maintenance technician for several different manufacturing companies, until he retired.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church.

Some of Joseph's favorite hobbies were listening to the Beatles and watching old television shows and movies.

His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he loved spending time with them. Joseph also loved being with his family and eating his Italian Sunday dinners.

In addition to his father, Joseph is survived by his two children, David (Heather) Cumo and Mark (Alejandra) Cumo; his sister, Barbara Ann Cumo; and three grandchildren, David Joseph Cumo, Anthony Charles Cumo and Angelina Maria Cumo.

In addition to his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Vogan.

Honoring his wishes, services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
