Las Vegas, Nevada - Our beautiful mother, Josephine Cappiello Abraham, went to heaven on Aug. 8, 2025.

She was born April 10, 1929, in New Castle, Pennsylvania. There she met the love of her life, James Abraham, also 13. They married at 19, and were together for 81 years.

Her physical and mental strength were demonstrated as she supported her husband during his long military career. Constantly moving from the U.S. to foreign countries, she always made sure that our home was beautiful and comfortable.

Finally settling in Las Vegas in 1966 to the present, mom's priority was always her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Patty Abraham, Vicki Abraham Wickman and Joni Raizk; her son, James Abraham II; sisters, Rachel Pallott, Jean Williams, Patti (Sam) Costa and Carol (Dick) Alfera; 10 beautiful grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Jo is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Minnie (Mazzocco) Cappiello; her husband, James Abraham; her daughter, Jamie Lynn; her sister and brother-in-law, Clare and Joe Canfora; her sister, Jenny Cappiello; her brother, Patsy Cappiello; her granddaughter, Erin Raizk Lincoln; and a brother-in-law, Jack Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at St. Vitus Cemetery Chapel, 2699 Old Pittsburgh Road, New Castle, PA, 16101. Friends and family can gather at the chapel from noon to 1 p.m.

She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
