Julian Henry Adamczyk passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

He was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Rozalia (Babski) Adamczyk.

Julian spent 39 years working as an assembly erector at Wean United in Youngstown, Ohio.

He was an active member of the Polish Falcons and the Holy Name Society of SS Philip and James Parish in New Castle. Additionally, he regularly attended St. Vitus Church in New Castle.

Julian had many passions in life. He found joy in tending to his garden, particularly nurturing tomatoes and various vegetables. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, relishing his fishing trips to Canada. Traveling with his wife, Jane, brought him great pleasure, especially trips to Las Vegas and Puerto Rico.

Football held a special place in his heart, having played the sport during his time at Shenango High School. He was a devoted Steelers fan and never missed watching their games.

Julian was preceded in death by his son, Robert; daughter, Patricia; as well as his brothers, Ted, John and Max; and sisters, Bernice Witkowski, Helen Duda, Josephine Pivovar, Florence Rotuno and Irene Ryzcaj.

His is survived by his wife, Jane, with whom he shared 74 years of marriage. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Gawdyda; his daughter, Mary Ann Keller; daughter-in-law, Lauri Adamczyk; granddaughters, Alison Fisher and Elizabeth Adamczyk; grandsons, Zachary (Kristen) Keller and Nathan (Stephanie) Keller, Michael (Katie) Adamczyk and Daniel Adamczyk; and great-grandchildren, Shyla Smith, Isabella Fisher, Roman and Reid Keller, Elijah Keller, Emerson and Hadley Keller and Margot Adamczyk; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitiation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill St., New Castle.

His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Bridges Hospice and Brookdale Latrobe for their compassionate care for Julian.

A procession will leave the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday for Holy Spirit Parish- St Vitus site, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Aaron Kriss, parochial vicar of Holy Spirit Parish, will officiate. Rite of Committal and burial will be held at SS Philip and James Cemetery.
