Lee Lytle Ketzel (Chic) Obituary

Lee Lytle "Chic" Ketzel, 81, of Grove City, Liberty Township, Mercer County, passed away at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022.

He was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to Rev. Harvey Norman Ketzel and Helen May Lytle Ketzel.

He married Doris Theda Hennon on June 13, 1959.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He retired from Sprint, where he worked as a technician.

He attended East Main Presbyterian Church in Grove City and was a member of F&A.M. Lodge 603 in Grove City and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of New Castle.

He enjoyed golfing and loved horses.

Survivors include his wife, Doris, at home; daughter, Kelley (Brendan) Smith of Grove City; two grandsons, Torin (Anna) Smith and Dalee of Grove City; great-granddaughter, Sloane; sister, Lynn (Thomas) Fleeger of Burleson, Texas; and brother, Stewart A. (Denise) Ketzel of Slippery Rock.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Randy.

A memorial service is planned for some time in the future with the place, date and time to be announced in this newspaper.

Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.
