September 15, 1938 - June 22, 2026 - Former New Castle resident Leona Ann Abraham, 87, of Alta Loma, California, went home to be with Jesus the morning of June 22, 2026.
Leona was born in Coos County, Oregon, to the late Oren C. Foote and Carrie Ann Foote.
She was a devoted homemaker and mother who loved caring for her family.
Leona enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, art, playing cards and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Leona was loving and kind to all. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her four children, Rhonda Deck, James Abraham, Corrine Carter and Kurt Abraham; 11 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to Leona's parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James (Slag) Abraham; daughters, Keia Abraham and Carrie Abraham; and granddaughter Tamini Abraham.
No services will be held in New Castle.
