Washington Township, Pennsylvania - Leslie Marvin Jeffcoat Jr., 79, of Washington Township passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026.

Born Oct. 20, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas, he was a son of the late Leslie Marvin Jeffcoat Sr. and Betty Lee (Ridenour) Jeffcoat.

Marv was a 1964 graduate of Shenango High School and attended Pitt part-time for 11 years to obtain his degree in engineering.

He proudly served our country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Marv worked for a time at U.S. Steel, for Westinghouse for 17 years and Dominion Energy for the rest of his career, working as an analytical engineer.

He was a member of the VFW Post #92 in Lower Burrell, and a member of the NRA.

Marv was an avid hunter and loved watching movies. He most enjoyed being with his family.

Marv is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Darlene (Greenawalt) Jeffcoat; daughters, Rhonda (David Hodge) Bryan of Boardman, Ohio, and Lori (Bart) Sweigard of Lisbon, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Lee Jeffcoat of Wampum, Pennsylvania, and Michael Jeffcoat of Ocala, Florida; and nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, until the Celebration of Life tribute service at noon in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Please join the family as they honor Marv's life. Following the services, military honors will be conducted by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marv's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY, 10306.
