Linda S. Anthony, 65, of Union Township passed away the morning of Oct. 2, 2020, at her residence.
Born on Jan. 11, 1955, in Clendenin, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Violet M. Dunlap Shaffer.
On Jan. 16, 1971, Linda married her beloved husband, Gerald Anthony Sr. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2017.
Linda enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. A loving mother and grandmother, Linda's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her son, Gerald Anthony Jr. (Jamie); four brothers, Ronald, Roy, Alan and David Shaffer; two sisters, Tressie Wyatt and Elizabeth DeHaven; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Shaffer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at her residence.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
