New Castle, PA - Louise L. Galmarini, 93, of New Castle passed away the morning of Nov. 9, 2025, at the Avalon Care Center.

Born Feb. 25, 1932, in New Castle, Louise was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Nicoletta Conti Jannetti.

On May 29, 1954, Louise married her beloved husband, Victor A. Galmarini Sr. Victor preceded her in death Jan. 26, 2013.

In the early years, Louise had worked in the accounting department and as a phone operator for Bell Telephone. She had also worked at the theater in New Castle.

Louise was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. In the early years, Louise enjoyed bowling, camping, traveling with her husband and visiting casinos. Louise was a fantastic baker and cook.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, one of Louise's favorite pastimes when spending time with her family, was playing cards with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Louise is survived by her children, Carol Stelts (Dave), Vickie Gingras (Gene), Patty Julian, Laurie Alberico (Mike) and Victor Galmarini Jr. (Paula); 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Frank "Buster" Jannetti; and her five sisters, Virginia Malandro, Evelyn Smith, Norma Landgiotti, Dolores Fiello and Shirley Jannetti.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Avalon Care Center and Three Rivers Hospice for the loving care given to Louise.
