Lucille "Aunt Lulu" Abraham, 87, formerly of Waldo Street, died peacefully the morning of Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Golden Hill Nursing home.
Born Nov. 26, 1930, Lucille was a daughter of the late Louis and Cecelia (Gabriel) Abraham.
She was a lifelong member of St. John's Maronite Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
In her younger years, Lucille worked at Dave's Supermarket, Big J Supermarket and A&M Supermarket.
Lucille's family was her life. She enjoyed going to family picnics and entertain her family when they would come and visit. Lucille also enjoyed going shopping with family members.
Survivors include a sister, Rose Mitchell; sisters-in-law, Marian Abraham and Kathy Abraham; and numerous devoted nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Abraham, Robert Michael Abraham and John Abraham and his wife, Betty; and sisters, Jennie Thomas, Anna Joseph and Theresa Moses.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Maronite Church, 2 W. Reynold St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. John the Maronite Church. The Rev. Claude Franklin, pastor of St. John's the Maronite Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
The family is asking that memorial contributions be made in her name to St. John's Maronite Catholic Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle.
