Mable A. DeGraw Obituary

Mable Agnes DeGraw, 91, of Oak Street, New Castle, died Saturday, March 23, 2019, at her home. She was born on July 8, 1927, in Portersville, a daughter of the late Willard and Margaret (Douglass) Stickle. She was married to the late Thomas M. DeGraw who died February 1963.

Mrs. DeGraw was a waitress at the B&O Railroad Rest House. She enjoyed seek & find, putting puzzles together, playing Bingo, and watching wrestling on TV.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol Holiday, Margie Hernandez, and Donna Taylor, all of New Castle; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Hake; her brother, Claire Stickle; and her sister, Hazel Copper.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the Spiritual Path Church, 2041 Moravia St. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Spiritual Path Church. Pastor Karen Heasley will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.
