New Castle, PA - Marie J. Bondi, 85, of Neshannock Township passed away the afternoon of Jan. 15, 2026, at her Quality Life Services of New Castle.

Born Oct. 17, 1940, in New Castle, Marie was the daughter of the late Clifford Carpenter and Elizabeth Yoccabel Carpenter Matteo.

Marie is survived by her beloved husband, Frank W. Bondi. The two were married Nov. 22, 1958.

Marie had worked as manager for Fashion Barn clothing store for 20 years.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church.

Marie enjoyed visiting casinos.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marie's greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by her three children, Marcella Cherichetti (Paul), Frank Bondi Jr. (April) and Gina Bondi (Joe Stefano); two brothers, William Carpenter and James Matteo; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by two sisters, Alberta Donofrio and Donna Cameron; three brothers, Clifford, Robert and Leonard Carpenter; and one great-granddaughter, Adalynn Cherichetti.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
