Marion M. Allen Obituary

Marion M. Allen, 71, of 3501 Meadowview, Apt. 2, died of a heart attack at 8:15 a.m. April 28, 2006, at her residence. Born May 31, 1934, in Logans Ferry, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia Baran Politsky. On Aug. 22, 1955, she married Glenn R. Allen, who survives. A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington. She enjoyed traveling, board games, reading and miniature golf. In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and John Ruby of Pulaski, one son, Kenneth R. Allen of Warren; one brother, Richard Politsky of Warren; two sisters, Irene Rossi of Warren and Karen Ciolli of Youngstown, two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington. The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. David Robinson of New Life Baptist Church.
