New Castle, PA - Marsha L. Boyle Cochran, age 84, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of June 22, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born June 24, 1941, in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Muriel (Harris) Nygard.

On Sept. 29, 1963, she married Clair E. Boyle, her husband of 39 years before his passing on March 8, 2003.

Subsequently, she married Robert F. Cochran on July 10, 2004. They were married for 10 years until his passing on Feb. 09, 2015.

Marsha was a 1959 graduate of Shenango High School.

She worked as a beloved waitress at Eat-N-Park for several years, until she went on to work in the telemarketing industry, until her retirement.

Arts, crafts and photography were some of her favorite hobbies. Marsha had a special love for animals and enjoyed taking care of them throughout her life, most recently her beloved rescue dog, Trixie.

She was of the Christian faith and attended Faith Country Chapel.

Survivors include three daughters, June (Jude) Tuliszewski of Tampa, Florida, Gale Carr of Four Oaks, North Carolina, and Barbara (Jeff) Quinto of Rolesville, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one daughter, Wanda Romonsky; and one brother, W. Thomas Nygard.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 6 p.m. with Rev. Bill LaVelle of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
