Martha Ann Beatty, 84, of Enon Valley passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 27, 2023, at UPMC Jameson Hospital following complications from surgery.
Born Nov. 13, 1938, in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Isabelle Davis Zeh.
She was married to Kenneth J. Beatty for 49 years when he passed away Feb. 6, 2009.
Martha Ann graduated from Darlington High School.
She was a member of the Mt. Jackson Presbyterian Church, where she served by helping with Bible school and church dinners.
She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed babysitting, luncheons with friends, shopping and going to yard sales. Her most enjoyable times were family events.
Survivors include two sons, John (Janet) and Paul (Rita Ehrenberg) Beatty, both of North Beaver Township; her daughter with whom she resided, Pam Beatty of Enon Valley; a brother, Larry (Judy) Zeh of Chippewa; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Beatty and Nancy (George) Rodgers; three grandsons, Joey (Bobbi Jo), Zach and Johnny (Sarah) Beatty; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald (Helen Maie) and George Zeh; a sister, Linda (George) Wilson; and brother-in-law, Tom Beatty.
Visiting hours will be from 2 p.m. until the 5 p.m. service Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St., Wampum. The Rev. Dr. Donald Aull of the Mt. Jackson Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Private interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Martha's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
