Mary Graham Aiken Worthy Obituary

Former New Castle resident Mary "Jane" Graham Aiken Worthy, 76, of Fort Smith, Ark., left her earthly home and joined her family and friends in her heavenly home on March 21, 2006. She was retired from Southwestern Bell in Dallas. She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fort Smith, AARP and Better Breathers Club of Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Roy; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Susan Aiken of Craig, Colo., and Gary and June Aiken of Colorado Springs, Colo; a stepson, Donald Worthy Sr. of Irving, Texas; a stepdaughter and her husband, Clarine and Terry Henson of Irving; grandchildren, Lesley, Josh, Kristen, Natalie and Katie Aiken, Dena Fugitt, Christine Parks, Tara Akers and Donald Worthy Jr.; four great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Nell Graham of Fort Smith. A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. tomorrow at First Christian Church, Fort Smith, with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery, Fort Smith, under the direction of the Putman Funeral Home, Fort Smith. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church (DOC), 3600 Free Ferry Road, Fort Smith, Ark. 72903, or Peachtree Hospice, 4300 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith, Ark. 72901. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Putman Funeral Home.
