New Beaver Borough, PA - Mary Alice Krueger, 90, of Newport Road, Wampum (New Beaver Borough) passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 26, 1934, in Mt. Jackson, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Edith (Kumrow) Schneider.

Mary Alice graduated from Mt. Jackson High School and was a member of the Wampum United Methodist Church.

She worked as a secretary for Johnson Bronze and in the cafeteria of St. Francis Hospital. Her most fulfilling and cherished role was that of a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, William Jeffrey (Susan) of New Castle, Thomas A. and Robert E. Krueger, both of Wampum; five grandchildren, Bradley, Cory (Courtney), Robert Lee and Fred Krueger, and Whitney (Jake) Kirkendall; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Krueger, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage until his passing on Sept. 3, 2016; two brothers, Robert and Paul Schneider; and her sister, Clara Bonnett.

Friends and family will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St., Wampum.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Keppen officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
