Mary Amelia (Bishop) White Obituary

Beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Amelia (Bishop) White, passed away on Oct. 4, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

Mary was born on May 3, 1920, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Frank and Sarah Bishop.

She was employed by numerous places, but the one she was most proud of was Walmart. She will be remembered for her love for her family, baking and embroidering.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert White; two stepsons, Walter and Larry White; two grandsons, John White and John Dolan II; eight sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by nine children, Romaine Johndraew, Michael Fayad Jr., Mary Gindlesperger, Debra Grega, Reynolds White, Rebecca Smith, Janice Dolan, Charles White and George White; 31 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at the James Funeral Home in Follansbee, West Virginia, where a funeral service will be held at noon.

Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Follansbee, West Virginia.
