Girard, Ohio - Mary Jane Dally, 75, of Girard, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley in Girard.

Mary was born Nov. 29, 1950, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Leise) McKnight.

Mary had worked as a registered nurse for 51 years before retiring.

She enjoyed gardening, reading and precious time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Kate Jones and husband, Brian, and Mike Dally and his wife, Patty; her granddaughter, Hannah Stout; and her sister, Becky (Brad) Richards.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Ginger Crocker and Ruthe Mayne; and her brothers, Don McKnight and Russel McKnight.

Visitation for Mary will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 29, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the funeral home. A service will promptly follow at 11 a.m., including a tribute from the Nightingale Nurse Honor Guard.
