Nancy Ansell Obituary

Nancy Jean Ansell, 62, of Butler passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Nancy was born on Oct. 13, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late Norman W. Stanyard and Annie Rose Streeter Stanyard.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Annie Stanyard of Slippery Rock; her companion, Wayne Patterson of Butler; two daughters, Valerie J. (Allan) Bell of Las Vegas and Julie (Frederick) DeGuzman, stationed in Italy; and five grandchildren, Kennedy, Joe, Brianna, Kaidan and Adelena. Also surviving are five sisters, Anna Marie Stanyard of Slippery Rock, Norma Ann (Joseph) Sanders of Georgia, Rose Mary (Paul) Kovach of Ohio, Sensarah (Dale) Gould of New Castle an Margaret (Daniel) Spiecher of Slippery Rock; two brothers, Henry (Tish) Stanyard of Bessemer and Jerome "Jerry" (Sharon) Stanyard of New Galilee; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Nancy was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
