New Castle - Nancy Gorski, 95, of East Long Avenue, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 7, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

She was born March 25, 1931, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Domenick and Devina (Clementone) Jannetti.

Nancy was married to the late Stanley P. Gorski, who died Aug. 11, 2015.

She worked as the office manager for Dr. Ginsburg for 32 years and continued in a similar role at Dr. Liganna's office for 15 years.

Nancy enjoyed bowling and attending Bible study.

She was known for her kindness and willingness to help others, always offering a kind word.

Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her two children, Michael D. Gorski and his wife, Shannon, of New Castle, and Mary Beth Reeves of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth DeThomas.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Guido and Reggie Jannetti; and four sisters, Emma Tuscano, Mary Montonaro, Margaret Valletta and Alvera Tedscko.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, located at 926 Cunningham Ave.

A funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. the same day at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Tim Kline officiating. Burial will be at St. Vitus Cemetery the following day.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude.
