Ellijay, Georgia - Mrs. Nancy Jane Rupp, age 91, of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Mrs. Rupp was born June 15, 1934, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to her late parents, Charles Warne Lumley and Kathyrn Harrison Lumley.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, and dedicated her career to teaching English.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Rupp.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Deborah Rupp of Ellijay, Georgia, and Alan and Carol Rupp of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandchildren Corey Rupp, Scott Rupp, Christopher Rupp, Brandon Miller, Mackenzie Miller, and Holly Carter; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service honoring Nancy's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.

Mrs. Rupp will be laid to rest in the Georgia National Cemetery with her husband, William.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Nancy.
