Nancy Lee Voras, 76, of Graceland Road, New Castle, died Friday, March 1, 2019, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Nov. 16, 1942, in New Castle and was a daughter of the late Francesco and Philamena (Martrella) DiVitto.

She was married to Steve Voras Sr., who died Jan. 26, 2010.

Nancy worked for the New Castle Area School District as a crossing guard at John F. Kennedy Elementary School and as a cook at Ben Franklin Junior High School for 32 years before retiring. She also drove the ACTS bus for six years.

Nancy enjoyed cooking, baking, doing word searches, collecting owls and was a diehard Pittsburgh sports fan.

She is survived by a daughter, Deanna L. Ullrich of New Castle; a grandson, Ryan DeSalvo and his wife, Isabella, of New Castle; a brother, Angelo DeVitto of London, England; a sister, Clara Gingras of West Pittsburg; and three great-grandchildren, Gianna DeSalvo, Aubrey Hamett and Ryan DeSalvo Jr.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ovidio "Sonny" and Frankie DeVitto, and a sister, Rose Sanchez.

Private services will be held at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.
