New Castle, PA - Nina M. (Woodard) Callen, age 59, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of Aug. 8, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 28, 1966, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School.

Nina attended Wayside Emmanuel Church, where she was active with the Women of Wayside Emmanuel church group.

Among her varied interests were playing bingo and diamond painting.

She is survived by her fiancé, Randy Callen of New Castle; father-in-law, Merle Ealy; a brother-in-law, Russell (Delores) Callen of Akron, Ohio; a sister-in-law, April (Dave) Fertig of New Castle; three nephews; three nieces; three great-nephews; two great-nieces; and a good friend, Robert Chavis of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Myrtle Callen.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, and noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bryan Warner and Pastor Joe Zingaro officiating.

Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
