Norman P. DiGiacomo Obituary

New Castle, Pennsylvania - Norman Phillip DiGiacomo, 92, of South Boulevard, New Castle, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

He was born Oct. 2, 1926, in New Castle, a son of the late Henry and Grace (Bordonaro) DiGiacomo.

He was married to the late Florence (Belinson) DiGiacomo.

Mr. DiGiacomo worked in inventory in the parts and tool room at Rockwell International, retiring after more than 30 years of service.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Philippines.

Mr. DiGiacomo enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and gambling at the casino.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeanann Dadejko and husband, John, of Lakeland, Florida, and Kathy Korab and husband, James, of New Castle; a sister, Jean Parillo of New Castle; two grandchildren, Trevor Hesskew and Haley Hesskew; and a great-granddaughter, Connie Ann Stewart.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gaetano DiGiacomo.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.

Blessing services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Deacon John Carran will be officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
