Norman G. Link Jr., 59, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, went home to be with his precious Lord and Savior on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born June 30, 1962, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Norman G. Link Sr. and Darlene Cooper Link.
He was married to Kathy Kloos Link.
Norman was a graduate of Laurel High School and attended Slippery Rock University.
He previously worked at Little Arties, Stop Buy, Tibor Jewelers, Family Christian Store in Cranberry, and was the manager at Grand Book and Bible.
Norm was a member of the Hope and Light Free Methodist Church in Ellwood City, where he served as a soloist, member of the board, trustee, custodian and a Sunday school teacher. He was extremely proud of being the director of Christian education.
He loved Star Trek and Three Stooges, and was a friend to all and was loved by many.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; mother, Darlene; brother, Gerald (Mable) Link Sr. of New Castle; son, Daniel (Tanya) Stunkard of New Galilee; nephew, Gerald Link Jr. of New Castle; niece, Brandy (Tim) Pizor; four grandchildren, Christopher, Isaiah, Danni Lynn and Tristan Stunkard;three uncles; and two aunts.
In addition to his father, Norman, he was preceded in death by his son, Steve Stunkard in 2005.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, from 3 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. at the Hope and Light Free Methodist Church (the former Free Methodist Church), 412 Glen Ave., Ellwood City. Rev. Chuck Jewell and Rev. Forrest States will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Creation Free Methodist Church in New Castle.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
