Patricia M. Floyd Obituary

Patricia M. Floyd, 74, of New Castle passed away on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born on April 21, 1944, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Freeda Sager Jones.

Surviving at home is her beloved husband, James Floyd.

Patricia was a member of Life Changing Minstries.

She enjoyed playing bingo and cards and visiting casinos. She was also known as an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Patricia's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her children, Michelle Rupert and husband, William, and Kathy Coblentz and husband, Richard, all of New Castle, Barbara Kunselman and husband, Donald of Clarion, Pennsylvania, and James Floyd Jr. of New Castle; brother, Melvin Reno; sisters, Betty Nowak, Shirley Hodge, Darlene Duncan, Delores Fray and Susan Dickey; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Reno, Walt Reno and William Jones; and sisters, Cora Joseph, Joanne Jones and Janet Williams.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Life Changing Ministries, 2929 Mercer Road, New Castle.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, officiated by the Rev. William Rupert.

Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
