Patrick James Taylor Obituary

Pulaski Township - Patrick James Taylor of Pulaski Township, Pennsylvania, was born Jan. 19, 1972, in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He went to be with the Lord on Jan. 17, 2026.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Sue Weaver, Hermitage.

He was the son of Barbara and William Taylor of Pulaski Township, who survive.

He also leaves behind a brother, Brian (Cristina) Taylor; and a sister-in-law, Erika Taylor.

He attended the Wilmington Area Schools before graduating from Lawrence County Vocational Technical School.

Following high school, he earned an associate degree in electrical engineering from Penn State Shenango.

His work experience took him to a number of supervisory and maintenance jobs at Werner Co., EASCO Aluminum and Ellwood Crankshaft Group in the area while becoming a member of the IBEW Electrical Union Local 712.

Patrick enjoyed repairing and working with his hands on mechanical and automobile projects. He was generous with his time and talent in helping people.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Renly.

He is also survived by three nieces and nephew, Alexa, Olivia, Jacob and Anna. His uncles, Chuck (Diane) Bell and Bob (Cindy) Bell, were strong influences in his mechanical skills.

He also enjoyed visiting and spending time with his aunt, Kathy Bell.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad; his cousin, Tiffany Bell; and his grandparents, Margaret Taylor, Katharine and James Bell, with whom he spent a lot of time while growing up.

Calling hours will be 3 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, with private family service at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Jordan Rimmer officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, New Bedford, Pennsylvania.
