Paul James Sibeto, 70, of Smithfield Street, Union Township, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at his home.

He was born Feb. 22, 1949, in New Castle, a son of the late Joseph and Ann (Traino) Sibeto.

He was married to Marcia Kay (Kastner) Sibeto on July 22, 2000. She survives in New Castle.

Mr. Sibeto worked at Lawrence County Human Services in maintenance, retiring after 26 years.

He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and electrical work.

He also was an avid football fan, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.

Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jackie Sibeto and fiance, James Pennington, of New Castle, Paul J. Sibeto Jr. and wife, Heather, of New Castle, and Valerie Sibeto of New Castle; two stepdaughters, Melissa Hilke and fiance, Fred Herr, of New Castle, and Shelly Clevenger and her husband, Brad, of McDonald, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Joseph Sibeto and his wife, Carmi, of Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Sam Sibeto and his wife, Trina, of New Castle, John Sibeto and his wife, Alexandria, of New Castle and Nick Sibeto and his wife, Anna, of Oakdale, Pennsylvania; five sisters, Roseanne Stickel and her husband, Dave, of New Castle, Nancy Sibeto of New Castle, Janine Womeldorff and her husband, Don, of Marysville, Ohio, Linda Siciliano of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and Robin Sibeto of New Castle; five grandchildren, Vincent Nero, John Hilke, Victoria Hilke, Justin Clevenger and Liah Volz; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Maryann Daugherty, and his nephew, Joey John Sibeto.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
